When tech billionaire Slater King meets cocktail waitress Frida at his fundraising gala, he invites her and her friends to a dream vacation on his private island. As strange things begin to happen, Frida questions her reality. We caught up with director Zoë Kravitz and her ensemble on the Red Carpet. Zoë Kravitz started writing Blink Twice in 2017 under the original working title Pussy Island. Kravitz intended Boa constrictors to be non-toxic, so they couldn’t have been made into a snake venom drink. Frida: Something terrible is going to happen. I wonder if the people who gave this movie a high score have ever seen a horror movie in their life. Because horror movies have to have a theme. Horror. Well, you’re in the wrong movie. Because for 1 hour of the 1 hour 30 minute movie, you don’t see horror or anything close to it (not counting the credits). You barely see 3 flashbacks for a total of 3 seconds. The movie literally focuses more on partying and being in the movie. But nepotism made the director think Zoe has some budget and I really think the reason the party scenes are too long is because she was probably partying behind the scenes. I really like Jordan’s movies, their atmosphere, their originality, and I really feel the thriller, while here there is a mix of The Hangover movie and Get Out. But the Hangover part of the movie takes 1 hour. People probably gave me some credit because the same type of stereotype is heavily used in the movie. And people in that target audience love clichéd movies and complain that nothing is original. So it’s not surprising. I’m not even sure what kind of bad guy character Channing Tatum was trying to make because he was too much of a bad guy. I don’t think it’s in his acting skills to be a bad guy because he’s too much of a cool guy. I downloaded the movie via torrent and I’m sad that I spent my popcorn on this movie. Can I get a refund for this?
